Damn!

i was just re-reading this a little bit, and saw that i said BSG interview a long ass time ago, when i should have said Brandon Scott Gorrell

he was like a mumu house writer living in seattle, now he runs thought catalog

and i had an interview with him, as coresponded through someone else's email and mistakenly sent (back?) to me.

if i had written his whole name out in the header of that post. i might have like,
a couple more strangers following this and maybe a couple more strangers following dude york blog

i would like that, especially on this blog with its "personalized content" because all strangers I imagine are myself. so i just post things at me,

when it comes to strangers.

speaking of strangers, and strange things:

(chilling)

this girl looks like my sister

but if my sister were hip.

scary alt universe.

iris, nadim, u both have older sisters like me, (massive three way internet fist bump)

yeeeeahh

hungry!

im so hungry, this is a great shot of eating in a hotel room. this one is for all u guys who r still hungry right now.

Goth Zombies

With andrew gone this week, friends, i've been spending a lot of time with shaun. its been sick

last night i was chiiiiilllllliiiin with shaun, right? and then we saw the movie rubber

we made a film on extranormal the other day too (andrew was there actually before he left for idaho to sort records)

its called google tranny

so youtube google tranny
(lol)

shaun and joe made a film the other day, they have made like a ton of movies on their own, its crazy. iris sent two of her dude york covers she designed for us, the first is an incredible painting of isabel
and the second is really chill, you will see these soon anyway because u guys are "into dude york" aka have to listen to it because i will ask you about it. or will want to hear it because you made a cover, secret comix: im looking at you (kinda, through the internet tubes)

watched the anime series Trigun this week...

gabe berenson, a freind of mine from middle school who went to mercer island high and played drums and guitar and stuff and had bands in highschool probably but i lost touch with him, used to watch that show all the time.

i always thought the main character was a doof, and now i understand he is kinda sick, but just looks like a doof.

you can disagree, im not bothered if you like the way that "Vash the Stampede" is drawn. he looks like a '90s goober.

i wish toby alden followed this blog. that guy is tight.

the pics on this post are also song art for the record. the one with the spray paint was done by bryan sonderman

the other was taken by isabel of boner mountain post florida.

hey isabel, ur blog is going really well, it looks great going to it. cool job, good work!

hey guys bye okay?

u guys going to be okay>?

I dont know what happened, but i have way more followers than i used to. Nadim, sam, bryan, etc. who were here since the beginning of people following this blog: no longer will this be exclusively tailored to you. now i have to also address the needs of @secret comics, @isabel blue, @thedubloon, etc.

anyways

right now i guess it is "spring break"

dude york concert happened last night, it was a crazy venue kinda.
we got bumped around the line up when we got there and for some reason ended up playing third, and it was really fun. i went kinda crazy. but in a good way. ive been working on a heavy metal adaptation of moby dick. Iris, you read that a couple months ago didnt you? do you have any ideas on the book? any tight advice/insights? lemme know. same for anyone else who has an opinion on it. i want the play to look like aliens 3, with a bunch of like red pipes and hexagonal walls that have pipes all over them. that would be tight
still need to come up with a name. i found this really sick comic at fantagraphics the other day, i had bought 2 groupons to there and i went to redeem them but the place was picked. so i spent like a really long time deciding

i eventually found this book called leviathan, and idk if its a canadian comic, or a european comic, but the only text in it is translated in 5 different languages, and there is only text in between chapters, really tight.

ive been reading osamu tezuka's the budha and it is also really great.

bye 4 now buddies!
